New Member Challenge
Stan Miller, a founding member and past president of the High Speed Rail Alliance, has agreed to kick off our year-end membership drive by donating $100 for each new member who joins this week (up to $2500).
As a founding member of the High Speed Rail Alliance, I have seen a lot of ups and downs in the industry. Right now, we have the best chance ever to win a national program to build fast, frequent and affordable trains. A program that will grow – no matter what party is in power.
As a grassroots organization, our strength comes from people like you. People who know the benefits that high-speed trains offer and want to make them a reality.
So I am offering a challenge. If 25 people join the Association this week, by making a donation of any size, I will donate $2,500.
Trains are a great way to maximize our opportunities—economically, socially, and environmentally. Wouldn't it be great if people could come to Chicago from overseas and do business in Champaign or St. Louis? Or you could visit family wherever they live in a region by taking a high-speed train? It would make us more connected, and it's better than having a lot of internal combustion engines on the road.
And I just like trains. I like the way they sound. I enjoy traveling on them. The experience is pleasurable, and you have the option to work.
Will you help us broaden our reach and strengthen our organization by joining today?
